Dr. Priyangini Singh Patel, (DOMS- Gold Medalist, FICO, FMR- Medical Retina Fellow)

Dr. Priyangini Singh Patel was born at Raipur to Mr S K Pandey & Mrs Ragini Pandey with one elder brother.
She did MBBS from Pt. JNM Medical College, Raipur with distinction and certificate of merit. After that she did DOMS from Pt. JNM Medical College, Raipur with university gold medal by honorable Governor of CG in 2012. She has completed her FMR, “Medical retina- Fellowship” from Giridhar Eye Institute- Cochin, Kerala in 2012. She also passed FICO, International Council of Ophthalmology exam in 2012.

Awards and Achievements

  • She has more than 20 presentations in state and national level conference.
  • She has received Best paper Award amongst Post graduates in Chhattisgarh annual conference in 2011 for her research work on “Clinical missed diagnosis vs misdiagnosis”. She attended many CMEs in national/ international level.
  • She has wide area of clinical experiences like Phaco cataract surgery, retinal laser and angiography, lid surgery, glaucoma diagnosis and management, ocular sonography, Gonioscopy, trauma management, corneal transplantation.
  • She is sports personality and received Best athlete award in medical college for consecutive 4 years between 2003-2006.
  • She also received Best athlete award in “PULSE” all India inter-college competition in AIIMS in 2005.
  • She was College champion in Badminton.
  • Best singer of Medical college competition between 2005-2007.
  • She cleared national talent search examination and also participated in science Olympiad in school days.
  • She has taken Visharad in indian vocals from Indira Kala Sangeet Vishvavidyalaya, Khiragarh, Chhattisgarh.
